Our Chupi Community remains at the heart of everything we do. From our incredible customers to our teams and extended Chupi family – community is everything to us. When faced with the task of having to close our store & HQ we knew we had to turn to technology to keep us all connected.

We use technology so much at Chupi HQ that it’s second nature to us, but if you’re a small business, we wanted to give you an insight into how we’re keeping connected here at Chupi, both with our customers and our teams during this uncertain time.

Slack:
Slack is an instant messaging platform that has always been a key way to communicate at Chupi HQ – but now more than ever we’re using it to keep in touch. From saying hello to everyone first thing in the morning, to planning exciting launches.

Some of our most active channels in the last week have been:

#petsofchupi features daily updates from our new furry teammates!

Zoom: Zoom is a remote conferencing service. Every morning we kick off the day with a team zoom chat. It gives us a chance to catch up face to face while sorting out our daily priorities. It also gives us the best incentive to get out of our sweat pants and into ‘work’ clothes!


Whatsapp: We were so excited to launch our Digital Jewellery Appointment service last week. It meant that all of our amazing customers could browse our sparking heirlooms from anywhere in the world.
When you book a digital appointment, one of incredible Chupi jewellery consultants will video call you on WhatsApp at a time and date that suits you. It couldn’t be easier!

Instagram: Instagram has always been one of our favourite ways to communicate with our Chupi community – but for the last week we have been opening up the conversation even more than usual. We love hearing from our customers and followers, so the ‘Ask’ box feature is giving us a way to talk to people. From frontline staff to those who simply want to chat about sparkling beautiful things during this strange time.

The present challenge facing us isn’t like anything we have seen before, there isn’t a how to survive and thrive in a pandemic guide for any of us.
