I’ve been sending little gifts to my friends and family to let them know I’ve been missing them! From local gorgeous flower deliveries @me.aul.flower to delicious cookies on your door @batchcookies_ie the options for thoughtful (and local!) gifting is so strong at the moment!

I have been consumed by Normal People lately. I read the book in one day and then watched the whole series. It’s so refreshing to read a new voice in Irish literature that portrays young people in such an honest way. I’ve also been using La Biosthetique hair care products which are vegan and cruelty free (they make your hair feel lush). Homemade cauliflower bites are my new obsession in isolation and so easy to make.

A couple of gorgeous cafes and takeaways have reopened where I love over the past couple of weeks. My current favourites are Ubh Cafe in Newbridge and The Original Food Junkie. Ubh is amazing for baked goods and takeaway sandwiches – they’ve also turned their indoor seating space into a grocer – stocking amazing organic veg and my favourite peanut ragu from White Mausu. The Original Food Junkie is my favourite pizza in the world – it’s wood fired from a mobile truck. They serve pizza every weekend from Friday – Sunday around Kildare operating as a drive thru, it’s definitely worth the trip if you’re in the area!

I got an Organic Vegetable Box from Sprout and it was bursting with locally produced, organic vegetables including potatoes, spring onion, broccoli, courgette, carrot, cauliflower and so much more. Sprout grow everything 30km away in Co. Kildare which is my kind of fast food! It’s incredible to support an Irish company at this strange time as they have completely pivoted their business. I’ve been making gorgeous salads covered in the Sprout french dressing, perfect for the summer weather. I think this might become a recurring monthly order!

Stephenie, Operations Executive

@brobakesofficial does weekly drops of amazing traybakes that can be delivered anywhere in Ireland. So delicious and perfect for sending surprises to friends while we’re apart. The website is bi-lingual, so you can practise your Irish while ordering!

Kev, Ecommerce Specialist

With more time at home, I’ve been working my way through a lot of coffee from Irish coffee roasters, namely from places like @cloud_picker @twofiftysquare and @3fecoffee. Really loving their limited edition Buena Vista blend and that packaging is lovely.

Laura, Head of Marketing

I’ve been loving at home ‘cooking’ with our favourite restaurants – Host in Ranelagh are now operating as a grocers supplying ingredients to make their dishes at home. And for any burger lovers out there, my husband is on a mission to try them all! Asador and Bujo at home boxes are brilliant and going try Featherblade on the bank holiday weekend.

Amy, Production Executive

I finally watched ‘Out of Africa’ (it’s on Netflix) and oh my goodness I could not recommend it more. With Meryl Streep & Robert Redford, its based in beautiful Kenya (where I grew up), and is such a beautifully told true story of a very amazing and inspiring woman in Kenya in the 80s. I’m on my final drop of ‘Everyday oil’, which is literally my favourite everyday/everywhere product. It smells like summer nights in a tropical climate!
