Lately, I’ve been thinking about how throwaway our society has become. This Christmas, I’m making an effort to buy less but to be more considered with my gifting.

Top Tips?

Really think about the person you’re buying for instead of buying inconsequential things – think about what they would really appreciate. And obviously try to shop Irish and independent – smaller shops need our support at this time of year.

What You’re Gifting?

I’m not too organised this year – who knew having a baby could be so time-consuming? But I know I’ll be voting my favourite stores; Scout, Chupi, Gutter Bookstore and the Irish Design Shop.

What You’re Hoping to Receive?

I love books, so if some hardback interior tomes fine their way to be, I’d be happy. Or a weekend away in a luxe boutique hotel…

Fave Chupi Sparkle?

One of my favourite Chupi pieces is my Drop In The Wild Ring in Citrine Gold. I’m hoping my next Chupi piece will be a ring…a wedding ring. When I got married 3 years ago, I just bought a cheap ring so I would love Chupi to make me a wedding ring that will work with my engagement ring.

I love gifting gifts, especially when I have put lots of thought into it and I just know the person is going to love it.

Top Tips?

I try to buy something they wouldn’t necessarily buy for themselves so it’s a real treat. Practical is good, but I think gifts should have the wow factor and really surprise someone!

What You’re Gifting?

I have already started shopping and have a long list of Irish businesses I’m shopping from. Modern Botany (for men and women) Kirby Design and Darcy Bow for wonderful girls clothes (perfect for my daughter) Brooke and Shoals candles (Frosted Ginger and Winter Berries is just divine!)

What You’re Hoping to Receive?

I would love a Jill and Gill printed top, a Theo and George cashmere jumper and an FAO Millinery turban headband to name but a few!

Fave Chupi Sparkle?

I have my eye on the Solid Gold You Are My Heart Stud Earrings. I must print this out and leave it on the fridge to make sure there is no confusion on Christmas morning…

I couldn’t ask for anymore then having family around over the Christmas break.

Top Tips?

You have to…keep it simple

Keep it personal

Keep the receipt 🙂

What You’re Gifting?

I’m so excited for the gift I’ve had made for my Mum – it’s a personalised scarf by the lovely KDK sisters with a photo of my Mum and my 2 kids printed on it. She is the best Granny to them and I know she’s going to love it!

What You’re Hoping to Receive?

I couldn’t ask for anymore then having family around over the Christmas break. My husband works 4 days in London and he’s taking two weeks off to do all the things with the kids like visit Santa and Wild Lights at Dublin Zoo. If you had to push me though, I’d say the Luna Leopard Print leather bomber from Manley!

Fave Chupi Sparkle?

Oh my God, where do I even start? North Star ring or earrings in silver. Or for the extra-special sparkle, the Dew Drop in the Wild ring in Prasiolite in Quartz and Silver.

Try to picture them opening the gift – do they have a big smile on their face?

Top Tips?

Always think about the person you’re gifting, with love! Try to picture them opening the gift – do they have a big smile on their face? Then it’s the right gift!

What You’re Gifting?

I like to gift in between the “coveted” and the “necessary”. But the gifts I love to wrap the most are experiences, from getaways to “self-treat” times tailored to my beloved.

What You’re Hoping to Receive?

Something that would definitely make me smile or cry of joy! Some tickets for a much-needed trip!

Fave Chupi Sparkle?

I love the North Star necklace and the Initial Diamond necklace!
